Alumina Wear-Resistant Ceramic Sheets: High-Performance Industrial Wear Solutions

Alumina wear-resistant ceramic sheets are industrial ceramic materials primarily made from aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) and sintered at high temperatures. These sheets typically reach a Mohs hardness of 8-9 . Through special surface designs, such as roughened lower surfaces forming grid, wave, or dot-matrix patterned glue reservoirs , the bonding strength to metal substrates is significantly enhanced. Used with specialized ceramic-metal adhesives, these sheets can operate stably in environments up to 350°C long-term, with some products even withstandin temperatures of 500°C . Their density is approximately 3.6 g/cm³, only half that of steel, effectively reducing equipment load.

Alumina wear-resistant ceramic sheets offer exceptional wear resistance, with a service life that can be over 100 times that of manganese steel and over 20 times that of high-chromium cast iron, depending on the working conditions . Sheets with convex points and concave grooves utilize the glue reservoir design, which allows the adhesive to flow and fill under pressure, creating a serrated bonding surface that greatly enhances installation reliability . These characteristics make them widely applicable in industries such as thermal power, steel, cement, and mining, particularly for severely worn areas like coal mill outlet pipes, coarse and fine powder separators, and fan impellers.
