Difference between the bonded and welded alumina tile liner

There are many types of wear resistant alumina tile liner, and the two most commonly used ones are bonded abrasive ceramic linings and welded ceramic plate. What they have in common is that the raw materials are all high-purity alumina powder, and They are very wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant. The main differences are as follows:

 1:The appearance is different; the bonded type wear resistant ceramic liner is a complete plate, and the welded type will have a circular hole in the center for placing an iron bowl or a welding nail for welding.

 2. The installation process is different; the bonded wear resistant ceramic liner is ground and polished on the part to be installed, and then the prepared abrasion resistant ceramic glue is applied to the liner, and then the bonded ceramic liner is Install it on the surface of the equipment, and wait for a period of time to solidify before completing the installation; the welded industrial ceramic liner is installed on the surface of the equipment after being glued, and a welding machine is required to weld the iron bowl from the welding hole in the middle, and the ceramic lining tile and device are securely fastened together;

 3. The use temperature is different; the temperature resistance of the bonded ceramic lining is generally within 300 degrees Celsius, and the welded wear resistant ceramic lining tile has better temperature resistance and is suitable for use in high temperature environments.

 The bonded and the welded wear resistant ceramic lining tile have their own advantages. Although the bonded ceramics is weaker in temperature resistance, the price is relatively low, and the process is relatively simple, the cost performance of welded ceramics is relatively high. It is more complicated, but it has strong wear resistance and high temperature resistance. It is an excellent choice for wear resistance in high temperature environments.
