What environments is drum ceramic lagging applied for ?

The ceramic coated roller is one of the very important components in the belt conveyor system. It can effectively improve the operation of the conveyor system, 
protect the metal roller from wear, and also prevents the conveyor belt from slipping and maintains the synchronous operation of the roller and the belt. 
Function. Ceramic roller lagging is achieved by vulcanizing wear resistant ceramics with bumps on the surface into special rubber, and then using cold
 vulcanization technology to vulcanize the wear-resistant ceramics on the surface of the roller to replace traditional rubber.

Ceramic coated rollers are generally used in wet and muddy environments. In wet and muddy working conditions underground, or in open-air conveying systems,
 the surface patterns of ordinary rubber sheets are worn away in a short period of time. In rainy days or when running in water, mud can easily stick to the belt, 
causing the belt to slip. Seriously affect the transportation efficiency. When the belt is running, the belt line cannot operate normally, and the machine is shut down, 
the ceramic lagging appears to deal with harsh working conditions such as mud, grinding, and high wear. The lagging materials and processes are used in harsh 
conditions. Scope of application of rubber ceramic lagging:

1. Roller lagging in harsh working environments;
2. The belt joint is not suitable for fixing with iron buckles;
3. Suitable for drive rollers or reversing rollers where belt conveyors often slip and have rubber-coated surfaces;
4. Transport various wet, sticky, muddy and highly abrasive materials;
5. High tension conveying system;

Ceramic drum lagging is more wear-resistant and non-slip than traditional drum lagging. It is suitable for use in extremely harsh conditions such as high wear, 
easy slipping, and moisture in the material or surrounding environment. It is especially suitable for use on steel cable conveyor belts and high-speed and high-tension conveyor belts
