Why do abrasion resistant ceramic linings tile fall off?

Some customers bought wear resistant ceramic lining plates and pasted them on the equipment themselves. After a short time, the ceramics fell off. So, what is the cause?

The first thing to consider is that the construction operation is not standardized. Before construction, the surface of the equipment needs to be cleaned, and the steel equipment needs to be derusted. In order to make the glue and ceramics more tightly bonded, the surface of the equipment must be degreased, deglued, and smooth. Neat and free of impurities.

In addition, the use of  Chemshun abrasion resistant ceramic glue must also be operated in accordance with specifications. Ceramic glue is usually mixed evenly in a ratio of 4:1. If the ratio is wrong, its bonding power will not be exerted. For different equipment operating temperatures, appropriate temperature-resistant glue also needs to be used. High temperature working conditions require the use of high temperature resistant glue. Otherwise, it is easy for the ceramic to fall off as the temperature rises.

The technique during the construction process is also very important. When pasting the ceramic lining board, apply neither too much nor too little glue. Use a rubber hammer to tap the lining board firmly. Make the overall surface of the construction neat and consistent.

The above are the issues that need to be paid attention to when constructing wear-resistant ceramic lining boards. Depending on the working conditions of different equipment, it is necessary to select appropriate Chemshun wear resistant lining plates to avoid ceramic shedding.
